Baird is a graduate of the Irish National Film School with both honors degree in Film Direction and Graphic Design / Art Direction.  He started as an art director for Roger Corman and moved in commercials and music videos. A lover of culture and travel he moved from Dublin to Budapest and continued to shoot commercials and developed a vfx heavy feature to direct in Budapest for Roger Corman. This lead him to Los Angeles.  Continuing to art direct major commercials and music videos for all the top brands and artist Baird transitioned to directing with some high profile assignments for artists, The Weeknd, Avenged Sevenfold and John Taylor and brands, SR Watches for Japan, VALvE Games and Soc.19

Baird is currently finalizing casting on his debut feature film, ZONE 414 which will shoot in Dublin late this year and is final talks for a US studio to finance. A sci-fi noir on synthetics and sexual and gender exploitation Barry Ward, Antonia Campbell Hughes and Michael Wincott are attached to star. The project came via ICM after they saw his video for KISS LAND for THE WEEKND.
